KIA Niro: Rear / Front Inlet Cooling Duct

Removal

Warning

Rear Inlet Cooling Duct

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) terminal of the auxiliary 12V battery.
  2. Shut off the high voltage circuit.

     

    (Refer to Hybrid Control System - "High Voltage Shutoff Procedure")

  3. Remove the rear seat cushion.

     

    (Refer to Body - "Rear Seat Assembly")

  4. Remove the rear door scuff trim (A).

  1. Open the rear seat back (A) in the direction of an arrow.

  1. Unfasten the inlet duct (A) in the direction of arrow.

  1. Remove the inlet duct (A) in the direction of arrow.

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) terminal of the auxiliary 12V battery.
  2. Shut off the high voltage circuit.

     

    (Refer to Hybrid Control System - "High Voltage Shutoff Procedure")

  3. Remove the rear seat cushion.

     

    (Refer to Body - "Rear Seat Assembly")

  4. Remove the rear door scuff trim (A).

  1. Open the rear seat back (A) in the direction of an arrow.

  1. Unfasten the inlet duct (A) in the direction of arrow.

  1. Remove the inlet duct (A) in the direction of arrow.

  1. Remove the front inlet duct (A) from a vehicle.
