Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Warning

  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
  • Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the roof rack front cover and rear cover (A).

  1. Remove the roof rack cap (A).

  1. Remove the roof rack assembly (A) after loosening the nuts.

Tightening torque : 3.9 - 4.4 N*m (0.4 - 0.45 kgf*m, 2.9 - 3.3 lb*ft)

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Replace any damaged clips..

Rear Spoiler Repair procedures

Replacement

Warning

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Warning

  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
  • Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the tailgate upper trim.

    (Refer to Tailgate - "Tailgate Trim")

  2. Disconnect the washer nozzle (A) and high mounted stop lamp connector (B).

  1. Remove the cap (A) and then loosen the rear spoiler mounting nuts (A).

Tightening torque : 5.9 - 6.4 N*m (0.6 - 0.65 kgf*m, 4.3 - 4.7 lb*ft)

  1. Remove the rear spoiler (A).

  • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
  • Replace any damaged clips.
